Quilters Emporium is a full-service quilt store conveniently located on the in-bound feeder road of the Southwest Freeway (HWY 59) between West Airport and Murphy Road, just ½ mile from the Sam Houston Toll Road.   Quilter's Emporium offers all quilters a very friendly and fun shopping and learning environment and wonderful values. 

Over 4300 bolts of 100% cotton fabrics from Moda, Robert Kaufman, Andover Fabrics, Blank Quilting, RJR, P&B, Timeless Treasures, Henry Glass, Clothworks, Benartex, Maywood Studios, Avlyn Fabrics, Hoffman Fabrics and more is presented in a bright, well displayed, spacious atmosphere.  The Emporium boasts an impressive notions wall, over 400 books and patterns, quilt kits, and is the exclusive distributor for original patterns by Five Sisters Designs.  Quilter's Emporium is also an authorized dealer of Janome Sewing Machines, Tin Lizzie 18 Longarm System and is a Showcase Dealer for Koala Sewing Furniture.

Rose Ann opened Quilter's Emporium on February 1, 2004 and immediately began to set the shop apart by offering quilters the first locally sponsored annual quilting cruises through the Port of Galveston.  Each year, Quilter's Emporium hosts at least one quilting cruise with nationally known teachers.  All new Janome sewing machines are provided for the quilter's convenience.  Each cruise offers a variety of classes, games, events and fabulous ports of call.  Many guests return year after year, verifying that they have had a wonderful time and that the event is a good value for their vacation dollar!

Quilter's Emporium is open 7 days a week.  Hours are Monday - Saturday 10-5; Thursdays open until 6 pm and Sunday 12-4.  The Emporium hosts many events each quarter with a busy class schedule, several weekly quilting bees, a monthly Strip Club, Swirly Girls' "Clubhouse", Jo Morton "Little Women" Club, Wool Crazy Club,  Inspiration Days, UFO Pajama Parties, and much, much more!  Several Block of the Month programs are also offered each year.  

Quilter's Emporium was proud to be featured in the prestigious Better Homes and Gardens'  Quilt Sampler Magazine in Fall, 2010.  We are delighted to have been included the the exclusive "club" of top notch quilt shops in the US and Canada!  

Quilter's Emporium is well known for her friendly and helpful staff.  You are always greeted with a cheerful "Hi!" when you walk in this shop!  And if you are especially lucky, one of the shop dogs, Joey or Emma, will be there to welcome you, too!
