Capistrano - 2021 Saturday Sampler
"CAPISTRANO" 2021 Saturday Sampler or Block of the Month Program
OUR 2021 SATURDAY SAMPLER PROGRAM "CAPISTRANO" STARTS ON NOVEMBER 7!!! 94"x94"
"Capistrano", designed by our own Pam Baum, is designed with a nod to Studio 180 tools! All block and setting kit instructions are written for the use of Studio 180 tools AND traditional piecing techniques...so if you haven't jumped on the Studio 180 bandwagon, please don't feel that we don't want you...we do!
This quilt is offered in two different colorways, batiks or brights. Because of COVID-19, we are breaking from the Saturday Sampler tradition by also offering this quilt as a Block of the Month program that is available by mail.
Customers who feel comfortable making it to the Saturday Sampler meetings (social distancing observed), they earn a small thank you gift at each of the monthly meetings. Another perk, participants do not have to make the block each month and show it at the next meeting. You can make it when you are ready.
Registration fee of $50 covers all 12 6" monthly block kits. The setting kit costs $265. The setting kit includes participation in the hands-on workshops for those who wish to get assistance. It also includes fabric and exclusive pattern for the entire quilt top, borders, and binding.
This is a gorgeous project and we hope you sign up soon either online on our website www.quiltersemporium.com (left hand menu, click on Capistrano) or by calling the shop at (281) 491-0016
Notes from the Shop Dogs
Hi Peoples! Katey-no here! We had wots and wots of wain this week...did you? I hope eweryone is ok!
Mommy was reawy, reawy gwad that we didn't wose ewectricity. She got to sit on her chair and read and we got to sit with her and take naps. I use Baiwey as a piwow, as you can see. He is fwuffy and swishy and I wuv him a lot.
BAILEY: OK Katey-no....That's enough. Sheesh. Is nothing sacred? Mom did you HAVE to choose that picture? I was asleep for gosh sakes!
Mom has already started cutting student's class fabric to prep for the November One and Done! That's a lot of cutting! Do you realize that you get to make a quilt that looks complicated AND your kit is totally pre cut? You can also choose whatever fabric you want to use in the shop! That's crazy!!!! There is space for only 18 people for that day, so if you always wanted to make a Hunter's Star quilt...now's the time. It's a great project and with the corners already trimmed...it's a piece of cake!
hmmmmm...piece of cake...Hey MOM! Do we have cake??????
KATEY-NO: Baiwey went to the kitchen, so good-bye! We wuv you!
Wicks and kisses, Katey-no, Eddie, Baiwey, Emma and Joanie
