Notes from Joey, the Shop Dog!
Hi! For those of you
who don't know me, my name is Joey. I'm the shop dog at Quilter's
Emporium. I have an important job! Sometimes I greet
customers, sometimes I hunt for threads on the floor, and sometimes I play with
staff and shop guests. Mostly though, I stay close to Mama and keep
her happy--very important! After all, I'm pretty darn cute and I'm always looking for a photo op!
So now the update is that I might be retiring soon. Somehow, Mama thought that I would like to stay at home more often with Emma, my sister. How did she ever get THAT idea? Anyway, she saw a real cutie on Petfinder.com. This is the picture of her that caught Mama's eye. Sneaky people. Take a cute picture and then BAM, you have a dog that weighs more than you do!
Actually they do great work and Mama loves them a lot. Especially the great people at Safe House Rescue! I like her, ok, but boy does she have a lot of energy! She's all over the place. She is still under a year old so she is just a kid. Mama and I are working with her to teach her about quilting. She will never know as much as me, but she has to start somewhere, right?
Come see us when you can!
Licks and kisses,
Your pals, Joey and Katey, the Trainee
